📢 Willow Pointe Homeowners Association Meeting Notice 📢

Good evening and Happy New year! , homeowners and residents.

The Willow Pointe Homeowners Association will be holding an Association Meeting on January 20th at 7:00 PM at the clubhouse.

During this meeting, we will be discussing:
• Budget progress
• How association funds have been used
• Upcoming financial priorities

This is a very important meeting, and we strongly encourage all homeowners and residents as well to attend and provide input. Your participation helps ensure transparency and allows your voice to be heard regarding decisions that impact our community.

Good afternoon, Willow Pointe community!
Here are a few quick updates from this week:

🔧 Plumbing Repairs
The plumbing work went very well yesterday. We identified and stopped six exterior spigot leaks at the following buildings:
• 6603
• 6610 (two spigots)
• 6614
• 6616
• 6644

One of the spigots at 6610 had to be fully replaced due to a hose being cemented to it. Additionally, 6644 will need a new spigot as it is still leaking slightly. That replacement will be completed as weather conditions and John’s schedule allow.

A special thank-you to John Thomas (owner-occupant in Building 6610). John is a professional plumber, and together we volunteered our time to complete these repairs at no labor cost to the Association, excluding parts.

Based on flow-rate calculations, these fixes will save an estimated 10,000+ gallons of water per month. For perspective, four of the spigots were leaking at a rate of approximately one cup of water per minute.

💡 Electrical Updates
Bippen Electric replaced three exterior lights that were either burned out or malfunctioning at:
• 6611
• 6644
• 6646

🗑️ Maintenance
A landfill run was also completed.

Community Notice – Please Read

It has come to our attention that someone has been calling homeowners and spreading false information about the financial status of our Association, including claims that we are $20,000 over budget, mismanaging funds, and asking for support to remove the current Board.

These statements are completely false.

Before this Board took office in May 2025, the Association operated in the red for the past five years. Since then, we have worked hard to reverse that trend. By cutting unnecessary expenses and reinvesting responsibly into the property, we have:

✔️ Improved the overall condition of the community
✔️ Paid all bills on time
✔️ Maintained proper deductible coverage
✔️ Built an additional $20,000 in combined reserves for unexpected expenses

As of today, Willowpointe is in better financial condition than it has been in years.

We are committed to transparency. Any homeowner who wishes to review our financials, bank statements, or supporting documents may request them at any time; we are happy to provide proof of the progress we’ve made.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the community and our efforts to move forward. We remain dedicated to doing what is best for Willowpointe.

✨ Happy New Month, Willow Pointe! ✨

Just checking in with a quick update we’ve been making progress slowly but surely, and things are coming along nicely. 🌱

✅ We’ve brought in a new lawn crew, and the property is looking better than ever.
✅ The panels over the electric meters have been replaced.
✅ Our storm-related electrical issue has been fixed.
✅ And the best part we’re saving money while continuing to grow our bank account. 💰

We still have a few small projects to wrap up before moving on to the fun stuff like the clubhouse improvements that everyone will be able to enjoy. 🏡🎉

🚗✨ Parking Lot Update at Willow Pointe! ✨🚗

We’re excited to share that the parking lot has been freshly striped! 🎉 A big thank you to everyone who came out with encouraging words and to those who moved their cars to make this possible. Your cooperation means so much!

We’re moving slowly but surely toward making Willow Pointe the community it deserves to be and this is just the beginning. 💪🏽🏡

📢 Willow Pointe HOA Community Update

Your HOA Board has been working hard to cut unnecessary costs and make real progress in our community. Here’s what we’ve been up to:

✅ We just completed a project required by the insurance company, which involved removing carpet from specific buildings. This was an important step to stay compliant and reduce liability.

🏊 The pool area has been cleared of debris, but please note it is not open yet. Additional repairs are needed before we can safely reopen it to residents.

💳 We now have full control of the HOA bank accounts and are conducting thorough checks and balances to ensure proper financial management. Stay tuned for more details soon.

📨 An email was recently sent out introducing your new board members and announcing our new system, PayHOA. This platform will help homeowners easily manage dues, track payments, and stay updated all while saving time and money.

🚧 We also have materials on hand to stripe the parking lot, and we will begin that project shortly.

🚫 Help us keep Willow Pointe clean and safe. If you see anyone dumping trash by the dumpsters or throwing garbage in the parking lot, please report it to the board. We will begin placing notices on cars that are in violation.

🌟 We’re proud of the direction our neighborhood is heading. With continued effort and community support, Willow Pointe will soon be one of the most well-maintained communities in Huntsville.
