Bless this dehumidified air unto our bodies, and the hands of the AC techs who maintain it. And Lord, as summer temperatures approach 100+ degrees this week in Texas, we pray for a divine hedge of protection over these miraculous vessels--unto which we are not worthy. For these conditioners of air, Lord, we pray that you might fill them with a double portion of freon. Yea, though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no humidity.

Moving to Huntsville, TX ? Here’s what you really need to know…🤗

The best comfort food is at Farmhouse Cafe ...If you've never had their broccoli and cheese cornbread, you're missing out! Their warm dinner rolls served with strawberry jelly and whipped butter are absolutely mouthwatering. It's one of my favorite places! OH and you have to try the strawberry sheet cake! 🍓

The best lunch (or dinner) spot... Sam's Table Restaurant
Known for excellent seafood and delicious bruschetta that's large enough to share with the whole table. A great spot for lunch or dinner.

My fave spot for seafood? The Big E-Z Crawfish & Oyster Bar 🍤🦐
A great local spot for crawfish and shrimp plates. Perfect when you’re craving seafood with that laid-back, local flavor. We love their seasoned fries and even more when Buford Snowden is playing. He is a local guitarist with many talents and a southern voice.

Best place to go shopping? Joetta's
Owned by my sweet sister-in-law, Sandy Newman. Joetta's carries adorable boutique clothing, jewelry, accessories, and gifts. Sandy grew up here locally and has built one of the most loved boutiques in town, winning multiple "Best Boutique" awards.

Best farm store? Huntsville Farm Supply
A one-stop shop for feed, seed, gardening supplies, vegetables, and farm essentials. Great customer service and a tremendous selection. Owned and operated by a local family for many generations.

The best Mexican food? Rodeo Mexican Bar & Grill no words needed, just go if you haven't been!

Best place to get your hair done? Salon ADK
Ashley does an amazing job and is one of my favorite local stylists (and my family). She's talented, professional, and always helps clients; she is wonderful with color and makeup - does lots of weddings and hair/make-up for events! 💇🏻‍♀️

One of the best things about our town? Huntsville Public Library 📚
A wonderful resource for families and more than just books...they also offer educational programs throughout the year. One of my girls favorite past times.

-CLOSED- This one was fun! Jackie and Jim Iden were fantastic sellers to work with. They were so organized and easy to communicate with! There home was so well taken care of and it showed!

A stranger came up to me last week and said, "Oh, I see you on Facebook all the time - I thought you'd be way taller than you really are."

So, I wanted to set the record straight on a few things:

1. I'm 5’1.5” - I can go 5’2" if I p**f my hair up a little.

2. If you see me eating out, it's probably going to be at Texas Roadhouse, indulging in their pork chops. Yum - and add the mashed potatoes and cream gravy too!

3. My favorite color is Navy.

4. If you see me in the wild, I'm probably shopping at Target or Marshalls!

5. I'm such a people person, but absolutely need my quiet time to recharge.

6. Yes, my listing tours consistently get THOUSANDS of views, and I am the best woman for the job if you are selling your home!

7. My favorite morning treat is a sausage gravy biscuit from Honey's in New Waverly & a Chai Tea latte w/ whip. Thank me later. ˗ˏˋ☕ˎˊ˗
