Hi! I just met a gal who recently moved here from Arizona. She and her artist husband are professional artist and teach on the workshop schedule around the country. Her name is Susan Diehl, ( on Instagram and Facebook, and her website is diehlfineart.com. She is interested in teaching fine art classes locally, at the Fayetteville art center in Fayetteville.
The fall session will consist of eight different nights and go from six till nine.
She wants you to know that this is the “real thing Art classes”, for folks who are really interested in the deep study and knowledge of art. But she also wants you to know that we will have a lot of fun doing it. The dates are September 19 and 25th, October 3, 10, 30th and November 7 14 and 21 .
She will take brand new beginners of any age over 16. The first session will be drawing techniques from the very start of what one needs to know when you pick up a pencil and advance quickly overtime to painting start to finish on an individual level.
As folks will come and go in the class, it will eventually be filled with people of all levels, each working individually on their own paintings and drawings at their own level. It is the first session that will be the same for all, a basic drawing class, in which everyone starts off at the same place. People can join in at any session, (eight weeks in winter and eight weeks in spring ) or anytime in the future period.
