A little real estate reality check…
So many agents start mentally spending their commission check before the transaction is actually funded and recorded.
Today, I was sitting at a closing table. Every party had signed the documents. We were literally in the final moments of closing when the buyer stopped, disagreed with part of the loan package, got up from the table, and walked away until another solution could be worked out.

The lesson? A deal isn’t closed until it’s closed.

No matter how certain a transaction may seem, there are still hurdles that can arise at the eleventh hour. That’s why experienced agents learn not to count commission checks before they hit the bank account.

Stay professional. Stay patient. Stay prepared.

In real estate, nothing is guaranteed until the keys change hands and the transaction is complete.
