I heard someone ask: What does it take to be an artist??? And the artist responded: Roach-like resilience, you just keep coming back. And that’s really stuck with me🎨🪳

In college I tried to major in nursing, interior design, and graphic design before I committed to a bachelors of fine arts. I was fully convinced I wasn’t supposed to be an artist and that I didn’t have what it takes to be a successful artist. But it was the only subject consistently keeping me interested and I loved my classes! Here we are 10 years later, finally chasing full time artist dreams, but it’s always called to me🥰👩‍🎨🌸
