Auburn University has opened a new 50,000-square-foot Applied Research Institute facility in Cummings Research Park, expanding its research presence right here in Huntsville.

The facility will support work tied to space, defense, advanced manufacturing, radiation testing and rapid prototyping, while also helping connect university research with government and industry.

And before the Alabama fans come for us… this is not that!
