Sharing on behalf of Hurlburt Field Fire & Emergency Services!
Keep an eye out for the Parade through our neighborhoods on October 4th 10-11 AM!

Military life brings its own set of challenges: deployments, PCS moves, new duty stations, and the adjustment that comes with starting over again. In the middle of all that change, connection is one of the most powerful things we can offer each other.

Connection can make all the difference. Check in on a neighbor, call a friend, or simply let someone know you're thinking of them. A small moment of connection can carry more weight than you realize.

This month and always, take a moment to check in on someone. You never know what it might mean to them.

🚐 Recreational Vehicles ≠ Permanent Fixtures ⛔

Hey neighbors! We love a good road trip or weekend adventure as much as the next person.. but your RV, camper, or boat trailer needs a vacation from the driveway too. 😉

Per community policy, recreational vehicles can’t be parked in driveways for more than 48 hours and definitely not blocking the street like it’s prepping for a parade. 🎉🛑

Why? Because blocked views, tight squeezes, and near-misses aren’t exactly the kind of excitement we’re looking for around here.

So please be a good neighbor:
✅ Limit driveway stays to under 48 hours
✅ Keep the roads clear for traffic, emergency vehicles, and that one neighbor who insists on backing in every time

Let’s keep our community looking sharp and moving smoothly.. no roadblocks, no complaints, no towing required. 😅

Our pool opens at 9 AM! ☀️
We love seeing our residents and families having a great time at the Mayroad Pool ☀️ Every day, dozens of people get to cool off and spend time with friends and family poolside. It is so important that we remember the value and the importance of this amenity and how vital it is that we all do our part to take care of it as a community. Our Pool Rules are a great start to helping this amenity stay in tip-top shape.
As a few additional reminders! ⚠️Children must be accompanied by a guardian 18+ AT ALL TIMES - including trips to the restrooms. 🍕Eating in the pool is a guaranteed way to promote slimy, grimy water that no one wants to dip a toe in. 🏖️Just like the beach, leave it the way you found it! Check for all belongings prior to leaving the pool and close those umbrellas. Our Florida storms ⛈️ love to throw them around. 🍹Alcohol, in any form, is not permitted in the Community Center or at the Pool. Lastly, our pool 🏊‍♀️ is for Mayroad Residents and their guests (2 per household). Please be mindful of this when planning a trip to the pool or reserving the Community Center. The pool is not included in the reservation.
Please remember, we're here for you. If you see something, say something.

Life can be joyful, but it can also be heavy. If you or someone you love is feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or alone, please know you're not alone, and help is always available.

We want every resident to know: whatever season you're in, however you're doing, you matter, and so does your wellbeing. Sending love to everyone navigating a hard stretch right now, big or small, seen or unseen.

At Mayroad, we care about our communities and the people who make them home. Reaching out, whether for yourself or someone else, is always a sign of strength.

🚨Hey neighbors! Just a friendly reminder that leaving your trash cans 🗑️ out for days before and after pickup isn’t just an open invite for hungry bears—it’s also against community policy. 🐻🚫

So, for everyone’s safety (and to avoid a visit from Smokey the Dumpster Raider), please don't put your cans out days before and roll them in promptly after pickup. No excuses. No midnight snacks for the wildlife. No policy violations. ✅

Let’s keep our community clean, safe, and bear-aware!
