Some real estate transactions are about so much more than buying and selling a house.
Today, I had the privilege of helping a couple I’ve known for nearly 30 years sell their home to an amazing young family. The husband is a firefighter, and his wife recently welcomed their new baby into the world.
Watching them start this new chapter brought back so many memories of my own life; bringing home my first baby while married to a young firefighter. Those early days are filled with excitement, hope, and dreams for the future.
What made this sale even more special is that the buyers and sellers found each other on their own. They simply asked me to handle the paperwork, guide them through the process, and make sure everything went smoothly. I was honored to come along for the ride and help both families reach the closing table.
Congratulations to both families! One family is passing along a home filled with years of memories, while another is beginning to create memories of their own. That’s one of my favorite parts of being a Realtor.
