Wow! What a memory.

Our first home didn't come without many obstacles.

I'm amazed at how quick many give in during the home buying process. At the first sign of trouble we want to run and put our head in the sand. If the process of buying a home was so easy we wouldn't need a professional. I always say find someone who is willing to teach you the ends and outs of the process and not someone who will just keep saying it's going to be OK.

I'm reminded of the last turn of events that happened when we were buying our home that had me ready to just say forget it...I give up!! The home we were buying was scheduled to be sold on the court house steps. We had no idea that the house was anywhere close to going into foreclosure. It was not disclosed.

I'm so glad we had our faith and knew this was the house God had for us. It was the only thing that got us through the challenges we faced. Just in a nick of time God revealed everything to us and we were able to overcome that last obstacle and get the bank to agree to hold off on the sale until we could get the house closed.

We had a great team of professionals at BB&T and WVHDF that worked diligently with us to help make it happen.

Oh what a day it was when we finally held the keys to our new home in our own hands.

Stay focused! All things are possible to him/her that believe.
