This right here is what Montana is all about. Out in the garden with my grandson today planting pepper starters for the season. No schedule. No traffic. Just dirt under our fingernails and a kid learning where food actually comes from.

This is the life people dream about when they say "someday I'm going to slow down." This is the someday.

Big sky. Good dirt. Family close. Time to actually live.

🎣 Some days don’t need much.

Out here, you don’t just talk about it — you hand ’em the rod, show ’em where to stand, and let them figure it out one cast at a time.

Spent the day fishing with my grandson, and honestly… not sure who was enjoying it more.

There’s a lot you can teach out here without saying much. Patience, timing, and how to appreciate a quiet moment when you’ve got one.

And if a fish shows up? Even better.
Simple day, good company, and memories that’ll stick a whole lot longer than the catch.

🌱 Spring is here. Time to get to work.

5am. Boots on. Dirt under your fingernails before most people have even had their coffee.

Me and my grandson fired up the tractor, grabbed the rakes, and got after it — because that 1-acre garden isn't going to plant itself. First seed of the season went in the ground today and I'll be honest… there's not a whole lot that beats that feeling.

If this isn't what your weekend looks like, it should be. Just saying. 👇

Montana isn't just a place you live — it's a way you live. It's knowing how to work hard, eat what you grow, and passing that down to the next generation before they forget where food actually comes from.

No gym needed. No motivation podcast required. Just good work, good dirt, and a kid who's going to remember this day for the rest of his life.
