Dear Hutch Community,
I am writing to extend an invitation to join The Cluster's Advisory Board as we work towards our mission of helping individuals and families achieve a healthy lifestyle and access valuable resources. As a new Virtual Resident Service Coordinator for The Cluster's, I am seeking the expertise and insights of our community to inform our initiatives.
As someone with a passion for helping others, having previously worked as an administrator at The Children's Emergency Shelter Home and 10 years at Horizons Mental Health, I would be honored to have your involvement in shaping our strategic direction and enhancing our services.
**About the Advisory Board**
We are seeking volunteers from various career backgrounds to join our Advisory Board, which meets three times a year (February, June, Oct) to discuss ways to improve the quality of life and resident satisfaction for families living in public housing. Your input will be invaluable in helping us develop self-help initiatives and create a positive living environment.
**Virtual Resident Service Coordinator**
As a Virtual Resident Service Coordinator, my role will be to provide updates and resources to our community, as well as coordinate with churches and organizations that have adopted The Cluster's Community. This includes providing opportunities for volunteers and activities such as blanket drives, youth support groups, and fundraisers. We are seeking churches that can commit to regular scheduled activities and communicate effectively with me to ensure we are following the right protocols.
**Church Adoptions**
If you are a church or organization looking to adopt a public housing property, we would love to collaborate with you. This partnership will allow you to bring resources and activities to our community, such as youth support groups, back-to-school programs, and fundraisers. We encourage open communication and flexibility to ensure we are working together effectively.
**Advisory Board Details**
The Advisory Board meets four times a year (February, June, October) and provides a platform for industry leaders to collaborate and drive our mission forward. Your participation will not only enhance our strategic initiatives but also open up new partnerships and developments.
