In the early 1960s, four generations of family—McKee, Mace, Sumner, and Fritchey—gathered at The Mace Place to celebrate the 4th of July.

I’m the little girl in this video. Today, I’m honored to own this special place and to continue making space for memories—now for new families and future generations.

Good food, time together, and traditions passed down through the years. And I’m sure the day ended the best way possible—homemade ice cream and a competitive game of croquet. ❤️🤍💙

We’re excited to be included in the Look & Book Open House at The Barn at Honeysuckle Farms this week. 💍

The Mace Place is just one mile from the Barn, and I’ll be at the house for anyone who would like to stop by, take a look, or visit about wedding weekend accommodations.

💛 A Heartfelt Thank You from The Mace Place 💛

This year has been such a special one for us at The Mace Place. What started as our family’s way of preserving Aunt Eunice and Uncle Maurice’s home has grown into something so much bigger than we imagined.

In addition to welcoming overnight guests, this little house on Main Street has been filled with laughter and memories from:

🎉 Family reunions
🎂 Birthday parties
🎓 Graduation celebrations
🎶 Class reunions
🙏 Church group meetings

It’s been such a joy to see families and friends come together under this roof – exactly the kind of gatherings Aunt Eunice would have loved. Thank you to every guest who has trusted us with your special moments. 💛
