Truth is, it’s been a rough real estate week. Just like with any job there are times when you just get kicked in the teeth. Yesterday I was at the end of my rope. However, everything is temporary and there are always amazing humans that make what we do worth it. Closed with these amazing and sweet first time buyers who surprised me with a gift and note. They had no idea it was just what I needed. Let’s go slay the week. The market is heating up fast, certain price points are down right HOT, and interest rates and steady. That’s right, 2 weeks from the date this listing was published, it was closed. How?!! Great location, realistic sellers/buyers, well kept home, great marketing, and appropriately priced. A WINNING COMBO!

Sure, real estate is notorious for throwing wrenches at deals and yes, there was a wrench or two. However, there is often solutions to most problems if you and your agent are willing to work through it.

Great people, great team!
Blew a tire on 20 today on my way to several showings and within 15 minutes I was on my way while my truck was getting fixed. Our favorite cowboy Realtor, THE Mr. Jake Jacobsen, showed up to change my tire while our sweet runner, Kannon, brought the company truck out to me so I could be on my way while they finished getting my truck back up and running. I sent out the SOS and there was no hesitation as my team started blowing up my phone to let me know they were on their way.
Lesson is, surround yourself with the best.
Thanks boys, you made what could have been a really crappy day just a little bump in the road.

Some might think the best part of being on our team is the opportunity to earn this amazing trip to Costa Rica….and it is amazing.
However, the VERY BEST part of being on our team is working with people you actually want to go on this amazing trip to Costa Rica with.

Thanks to Jason and Morgan (the best bosses ever!), their sweet wives who put up with us, and our outstanding transaction coordinator Brooke (and Ran-man) for a week full of food, sun, fun, beach, and did I mention food??

These first time home buyers are proof that where there is a will, there is a way. They had a goal to own a home and made some very impressive sacrifices over the last year to get there. Congrats to them, they so deserve this.

I don’t know about you but something about this time of year reminds me of how very blessed me and my family are. However, there are many within our community that have not been as lucky as us.
I also know what an amazing, giving, community we live in. Where a need is seen, the desire to fill it is definitely within us.
I would love to invite you all to join us on Saturday from 11 to 2 to help fill a need.
My amazing team will be at our office located at 1573 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls this coming Saturday to collect donations for The Idaho Falls Rescue Mission.
Read in the slides what the Rescue Mission does for those in our community and what they need as far as donations go. If you would like to donate but can’t make it on Saturday, there is always the option to donate monetary funds as well or I would be more than happy to swing by your place and gather your donations.
Swing by, leave a donation, get some hot cocoa, and share your blessings with those who might truly need it.

Just in time to celebrate the holidays in their new home! Congrats to this cute family! Real estate tried to throw wrench after wrench at these people but they allowed us to do our jobs and work our way through it and the reward was so worth it!
