It usually means the home is clean, functional, up to code, and doesn’t need any major repairs before you move in. It doesn’t necessarily mean the home has been fully renovated or updated.

Touring a new build is exciting, but it’s easy to get distracted by the finishes and miss some of the things that matter more long term.

Pay attention to the lot, drainage, garage size, yard space, natural light, and make sure you ask about the builder’s warranty. Those details can make a big difference once you actually live in the home.

Shelley Spud Days is coming up September 19th, and it’s one of those East Idaho traditions you have to experience at least once.

There’s the Spud Day Parade, local vendors, potato sack races, potato gathering contests, and of course the mashed potato tug of war.

One of my favorite parts about raising a family in East Idaho is the lifestyle we get to have here.

You can spend a day outside, head to the mountains, find something going on in one of our local communities, or just have a slower day with family without having to go far.

In my opinion, some home features are worth paying more for, while others really depend on your lifestyle 👀

An RV bay can be worth it for the right person, acreage is getting harder to come by, and a finished basement really depends on your situation and whether you want the extra space now or would rather finish it later.
