Water Rights! Our Agent Insider meeting yesterday was PACKED!!! 63 people attended and the panel hit it out of the park. So much has changed and continues to change. This was a very important meeting that impacts us all. Two major take-a-ways. 1) The Deed is the most important. 2) If it has anything to do with water rights, slow down, ask questions, get documentation, track all, and if not 100% sure (which is nearly always) ask more questions and get the buyer or seller in touch with the right parties to get the facts. Oh and one more bonus...whatever is current right now will change, for example, if you have shares that state a right to a certain flow rate, that is not what you may be entitled to because of recent changes. Pay attention!
