Today was one of those closings that reminds me exactly why I love what I do. 🤍
I had the honor of representing both the seller and the buyer on this one, and it truly couldn’t have gone any smoother.
The seller trusted me from day one. I sat down with him, laid out a clear plan to get his rural property sold, and he followed every suggestion to a tee. We stayed in close contact with weekly communication, and because of that teamwork, the home sold in just 43 days. That kind of trust means everything to me.
On the buyer’s side, this was her first home purchase, and she fell in love with the house almost immediately. Those moments never get old.
And here’s the part that makes this closing extra special…
My car was in the shop, and my little brother was in town visiting from Florida, so he stepped in and chauffeured me around to make sure I was right where I needed to be for my clients. Along the way, I mentioned to my buyer that he happens to be Sockapella Brian Mason from Pitch Perfect — which just so happens to be her favorite movie of all time. Talk about a full-circle moment! I was able to grab a photo of the two of them together, and she’s already planning to frame it.
I may not have gotten a picture with her, but I’m pretty sure she’d agree this one was even better. 😉

Some closings stay with you forever. ❤️

On October 31st, I closed with a buyer I had worked with for over a year. Somewhere along the way, he became like one of my own kids. Watching him grow through this journey was such a gift.

His sweet girlfriend had always dreamed of having a home of her own, and he wanted to make the moment extra special. Right there at the closing, with happy tears, he asked her to marry him — and I was honored to be part of such a meaningful moment.

They’re getting married December 27th, and my heart is so full for the life they’re building together. This is why I do what I do. Homes are more than transactions — they’re where life happens.

A big thank you to Pasmore Printing for helping me pull off the proposal signs with very little notice. Pasmore always goes above and beyond, and I’m thankful for local businesses that show up when it matters most.
