If you have all the following qualities, I would very much like to speak with you:
1) You are an incredibly hard worker.
2) You have a positive attitude and are polite.
3) You have experience in maintenance. (Especially, if you have plumbing or electrical skills).
We perform maintenance and rehabs that are mostly in the KCMO area. We deal with ALL aspects of a home, including mowing, painting, picking up trash, tree removal, electrical and plumbing, sheetrock, etc. You don't need to know all of this; we will train you in the areas that you need.
Usually, you’ll be performing different duties at different houses every day, so you’ll need your own basic hand tools. Also, employees must have reliable transportation and a cell phone. Furthermore, everyone here uses their vehicle to transport bagged trash, branches, materials, paint, etc.
We start people off as an independent contractor, so that both of us can make sure that this is a good and happy "fit." You’ll need a tax number or equivalent (SSN or work permit or equivalent). Also, keep in mind that maintenance work can be dirty and performed in inclement weather. Encountering mold, working on sewer systems, etc., is common.
