Professional affiliations include 2016 Class of Right Track Leadership Academy, the National Association of Realtors, Kansas Association of Realtors and the South East Kansas Association of Realtors. In my hometown, I previously served as the president of the Caney Chamber of Commerce and as director of Mayfest, an annual celebration in Caney. I'm very involved in my community as an active member of the Caney Lions Club, Caney Housing Committee and Caney Valley Historical Society. I previously served as a member of USD 436 School Board and Tri-County Special Education #501 for sixteen years. I have completed several 5k races including three in Tulsa, OK as well as in Dallas, TX and Oklahoma City, OK. I have also participated in a relay marathon in Dallas, TX and a half marathon in Tulsa. I am now preparing for a half Marathon in Joplin MO. I enjoy participating in these races knowing they are fundraisers for wonderful charities who help many adults and children. My late husband, John, and I have 8 adult children and 15 grandchildren. I attend the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caney. In my spare time, I love traveling around the United States.
