The duties of an agent are rarely ever confined to a singular job description. The line between agent and friend often shifts throughout a single transaction, but that's not a flaw in the process. Actually, it's the most important part of it.
As with every home, selling 48610 Vista Estrella was much more than a transaction. It was late-night phone calls and visits to assisted living. It was life planning, careful listening, and above all, caring deeply for a person navigating one of the most profound decisions any of us may ever face: letting go of a well-lived, well-loved home. The home where her husband had passed. A place held together by decades of memory, of meaning, and of a life fully lived. Letting go rarely is easy, and this process was no different, but the privilege of walking alongside her through that transition is one I will carry with me.
Doing the job well is one thing. Keeping the client at the center of it all, seeing them through not just the transaction but also the moment, is another thing entirely.
It is with a deep sense of gratitude and responsibility that I congratulate Ms. Nancy on her move to assisted living. Clearing 3,348 square feet of cherished memories is no small undertaking. It requires courage, stamina, and a steadiness of spirit that Nancy brought to every single step.
This transition was significant, and bittersweet in the most beautiful way. But ahead of her now is a new journey filled with new relationships and new rhythms.
Following the passing of her beloved husband last year, this feels like closure. This feels like something worth celebrating.
I know he is smiling down on her. And so are we, alongside her.
Congratulations, Nancy. It was a true privilege. We cannot wait to watch you flourish. 🤍
