Sometimes this job is about so much more than just showing houses—it’s about meeting people exactly where they are in life. 🤍
Yesterday, I met a client for the very first time. She shared that she’s been feeling scared to buy, especially doing it on her own, but with her rent increasing June 1st, she knew it was time to start exploring her options instead of feeling like she’s “throwing money away.”
So I suggested we sit down, grab a coffee (Diet Pepsi) and just talk.
During our conversation, she opened up and said she didn’t think she could do this alone. I looked at her and said, “You won’t be doing this on your own—I’ll be with you every step of the way.”
She smiled and asked if I’ve been doing this my whole life. I laughed and shared a little about my story—growing up on a farm, working since I was 12, and now being a Realtor® for a little over a year in what I call my “retirement job.” Most importantly, I told her how much I truly love helping people achieve their dreams.
Her response? “I was meant to have you as my realtor.”
Moments like that fill my heart in a way I can’t even describe. 💛
This is why I do what I do. It’s not just about real estate—it’s about connection, trust, and helping people step into a new chapter of their lives with confidence.
The people I meet and the places this journey takes me are what motivate me every single day. And there is nothing better than seeing that smile when someone realizes… they can do this.
