Behind the curtain at Indy Design Co. ✨

Last month, our studio doors opened to an extraordinary group — Black at Compass, Women of Compass, Compass Young Professionals, and Out at Compass — for an afternoon on the art and strategy of designing a listing to sell.

We talked about what actually *moves* buyers:
Not trends, not trying to impress, but intention. Highlighting a home’s best architecture. Editing out distraction. Creating the emotional pull that makes someone stop scrolling and say, this is the ONE!
The goal is never to decorate a home. It’s to position it to sell—and that strategy starts well before buyers ever walk through the front door.

Then we took everyone into the warehouse — over 4,000 square feet of furniture, art, and accessories, sourced and curated piece by piece. It’s one of the few full-service staging operations in Indianapolis built this way: every project custom designed, every home treated as its own story rather than a formula.

Grateful to host this room, and grateful for the agents doing the work of building community alongside great real estate.
