✨ For my home buyers out there I wanted to share a couple of tips before starting your home buying journey.

☝🏽 Start saving early and start working on your credit score as soon as possible.
▪️Why is this important? One of the first steps in the home buying process is getting preapproved for your mortgage. Your preferred lender will want to confirm that you have sufficient funds to cover the down payment and closing costs for your future home before getting preapproved. They also take into consideration your debt-to-income ratio and credit score. This information will help them determine what kind of loan you will qualify for. For example, a conventional or federal housing administration (FHA) loan. Save! Save! Save! Work on your credit score!

✌🏽Try not to finance anything before
Buying a home
▪️If you are thinking about buying a home soon, do your best to keep your debt-to-income ratio as low as possible. Generally, the lower your debt and the higher your income , the more you'll be approved for. DO NOT buy a new car, mattress, motorcycle, you name it, don't buy it.

3️⃣Decide how much home you can afford and explore mortgage options
▪️Before talking to a lender, think about the realistic monthly mortgage payment that you are willing and comfortable in paying each month. What amount is comfortable for you, your family, and lifestyle🤔? Based on this information & your pre approval, together we will determine the criteria of homes that best fits for you and your family.
