In the age of Ring doorbells, smart home cameras, and nanny cams, assume the sellers can hear and see everything you say during a showing. Saying how much you love the master closet can hurt our negotiation power, and calling their wallpaper choices “hideous” definitely won’t win you any favors if we get into a multiple-offer situation! 😬
