An exciting milestone was reached for Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan (OAM) with the opening of its new Southwest Clinic on September 8 at 1980 Metro Court SW on the UM Health-West campus in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Cornerstone Companies, Inc. is proud to partner with OAM on this transformative project, which includes a 30,000-square-foot renovation and 50,000-square-foot addition designed to bring comprehensive orthopedic services together in one modern, patient-centered destination. The new Southwest Clinic will bring physician clinic space, occupational therapy, durable medical equipment, and an expanded OAM Now injury clinic under one roof, helping expand access to coordinated orthopedic care.

The project continues with a new Ambulatory Surgery Center planned for 2027. Together, the new clinic and future surgery center represent an important investment in the future of orthopedic care, and the communities OAM serves. As Construction Manager at Risk, Cornerstone is honored to help bring OAM’s vision to life and support its continued growth throughout West Michigan.

A great day on the course for an even greater cause! Cornerstone Companies, Inc. was proud to support the 2026 Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis Foundation Golf Outing at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel. Representing Cornerstone on the course were Taggart Birge, Jimmy Clark, and Brett Longenecker, joined by Chad Dilley, FACHE of Ascension.

This year’s outing supported the Eric N. Prystowsky, MD, Cardiology Fellowship Endowment, helping support the future of cardiovascular care and the continued education and development of cardiology specialists at Ascension St. Vincent.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support and come together with partners and community supporters for a great day of golf and an even greater mission. Thank you to the Ascension St. Vincent for a wonderful outing! ⛳

We wrapped up August with a sweet treat! 🍦

Our teams took some time to chill out, connect, and enjoy an Employee Ice Cream Social. In Indianapolis, employees scooped up delicious flavors and toppings from Broad Ripple Ice Cream Station (BRICS), while our Michigan team joined in the fun with a trip to Golden Cone in Royal Oak, MI.

Along with plenty of ice cream, our Indianapolis team celebrated monthly birthdays with our spin-to-win gift card tradition. It was a great afternoon filled with laughter, conversation, and time spent connecting with colleagues.

A big thank-you to our Executive Team and Employee Engagement Committee for bringing our teams together for a fun afternoon. We’re grateful for our people and the community that makes Cornerstone such a great place to work!

On August 6, Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine celebrated an exciting construction milestone with the topping out of its new Whitestown facility! As the final beam was raised and the structure reached its highest point, the moment represented more than construction progress. As an independent, physician-owned practice with a longstanding presence in Indiana, Goodman Campbell is making a meaningful investment in its future and in expanding access to high-quality neurosurgical and spine care.

When completed, the Whitestown location will feature 14 clinic rooms, a dedicated pain procedure room and on-site X-ray services, making specialized care more convenient and accessible for patients. By bringing these services closer to home, the new facility will help patients and families in Whitestown, and surrounding communities access the exceptional level of care Goodman Campbell is known for while reducing the need to travel.

The project also represents a continued investment in Whitestown and its growing community. Cornerstone is proud to have worked alongside Goodman Campbell for more than a decade, and we are grateful to continue that relationship through this development. Reaching this milestone has taken the vision, collaboration and commitment of many.

Our Cornerstone Companies, Inc. team recently came together to pack 160 backpacks with school supplies for incoming kindergarteners at Tindley Accelerated Schools. From pencils and crayons to scissors, erasers, and other classroom essentials, each backpack was prepared to help Tindley’s youngest scholars start the school year ready to learn.

This annual tradition is part of Cornerstone’s continued commitment to Tindley and the Indianapolis community. We were honored to welcome Courtney Senousy, who shared more about Tindley’s impact, the difference community support makes for its scholars and families, and additional ways our team can get involved throughout the year.
