In real estate, words like "transaction" become so robotic. But buying and selling homes are often personal for our clients. This Tuesday was bittersweet for my dear seller, Larry. This was his childhood home - a house that holds lots of memories. We pended four different times - all with multiple offers. It has so much potential for its next chapter, and we can't wait to see how the new buyers transform the home! Larry, thank you for your patience and your trust in me through this whole process. I know it wasn't always easy, but I'm so grateful that I got to work with you!

Today marked closing day for TWO of my first time homebuyers!!

Erica saw a grand total of ONE home before we went to view it, and the girl knows what she likes! Now, she and Chester get to enjoy their new home (and backyard) in Indianapolis!!

Josel had taken a pause on the house hunt, but one home kept catching his eye. A little over a month ago, he reached back out to me to see it... and he, too, ended up buying that house. We were able to negotiate a number of inspection items, and now he has a place to call his own.

CONGRATULATIONS, Erica and Josel! I'm so excited for you both to start this new journey of homeownership!

Due to extreme weather and hazardous road conditions, trash and recycling collection in the City of Lawrence will be delayed by one day for the remainder of this week.

What this means:
• Monday pickup → Tuesday
• Tuesday pickup → Wednesday
• Wednesday pickup → Thursday
• Thursday pickup → Friday
• Friday pickup → Saturday

Please place carts out on your rescheduled collection day and leave them at the curb until they are serviced.
