I was recently talking to a first time buyer about housing costs/rates and decided to pull up the numbers for him. Even I didn’t realize that rates have been so similar. Since August is not over yet, we can only use the median home price for July, which was, are you ready…? $440,000!

Congrats to my out-of-state buyers on finding “the one!” When we started this process a couple of months ago, I was going over their wants/needs with them and they wanted a ranch with a basement. For a long time, that’s exclusively what we viewed. I slowly started to show them the value they would get in a 2-story vs a ranch w/basement and soon the mindset switched to value over idea and the rest is history. Working with an agent you trust to point you in the best direction for you and who isn’t just there to open doors is SO important!
