Good morning.

A quick note to update everyone that the Indiana State Legislature has effectively neutered the Carmel and Fishers rental ordinances.

Note this new Statewide law takes effect January 1, 2028, but it effectively sunsets those Draconian cities ordinances. It also delivered a strong message to other local political subdivisions to not attempt similar attempts at stripping away of property rights.

Check out our 5 star review - I rented a property managed by Polaris and had a great experience. Everyone on their team was incredibly responsive and kind to talk to. Out of all the places I’ve rented Polaris manages their properties the best! Their team is a bunch of genuine people who aren’t trying to suck every penny out of their tenants. They did a walk thru mid lease and fixed a bunch of minor things within the house which shows that they are proactive, take care of their properties, and want to avoid major issues for tenants. I want to especially thank Dan for helping us after my landlord moved to a different PM group. Dan could’ve easily avoided our email but he responded very quickly and got us the help we needed!
