As temperatures rise and outdoor activities increase, keep these important summer safety tips in mind:
π§ Stay Hydrated
Drink plenty of water throughout the day, especially when spending time outdoors. Don't wait until you're thirsty to hydrate!
π§΄ Use Sunscreen
Apply SPF 30+ sunscreen before heading outside and reapply every 2 hours to help protect your skin from harmful UV rays.
π Stay Safe in Vehicles
Never leave children, pets, or vulnerable adults in a parked carβeven for a few minutes. Always check the back seat before locking your vehicle. For long trips, keep emergency supplies and extra water in your car.
π Practice Water Safety
Never swim alone. Closely supervise children around pools, lakes, and beaches, and wear a life jacket when boating or participating in water sports.
