Pet friendly? We like to take it a little further. 🐾

This National Dog Day, we’re celebrating the perks that make our four-legged friends feel at home. 🐶

Across 14 states and more than 120 apartment communities, pet-friendly living looks a little different at each one.

Some have on-site dog parks and pet spas made for zoomies, playtime, and post-adventure cleanups. Others feature turf-lined puppy porches that extend the patio with a space just for your pup. A former drive-in movie theatre site in South Bend is getting a new chapter 🎬🎞️

Heritage Trails, located on the former Moonlite Drive-In Theatre property, will bring 180 affordable apartment homes to the community across six residential buildings and a detached clubhouse.

The community will offer a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom modern apartments with spacious closets, electric appliances, and a private balcony or patio. Residents will also enjoy pet-friendly living and access to community amenities including a clubhouse lounge, fitness center, pool, and more.

Heritage Trails will also feature a substantial solar installation through rooftop mounts and carports, designed to cover 100% of the property’s electrical load and alleviate utility costs for future residents.

With construction led by Birge & Held with Jon and Craig bringing this project to life, we’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to share more!
