Coachella Valley Rescue Mission Since 1971, Coachella Valley Rescue Mission has been an oasis & a place of refuge for the displaced and needy in our valley. Core Program Purposes

1.

Vision Statement

As ministers of reconciliation, we are to facilitate the reconciliation of men and women to God, to themselves, and to society. Those in need of recovery due to loss of job, home, health, emotional, mental or spiritual support, or physical or substance abuse find themselves drawn to our ministry. We are to facilitate that reconciliation through the available means of this Mission

, i.e. food, clothing, shelter, counseling and discipleship. Through these modalities we pave the way for them to be reconciled. Continue the work of Jesus Christ through evangelism, discipleship, and serving the spiritual and physical needs of the disadvantaged.
2. Provide for the emergency needs of the impoverished and destitute of the Coachella Valley through shelter and food services, rehabilitation programs, spiritually-based counseling, education, job skills, and transitional living.
3. Inform and involve the public in caring for the needy.

💧☀️ WE NEED YOUR HELP! ☀️💧

As temperatures continue to rise across the Coachella Valley, our unsheltered neighbors are facing dangerous heat conditions. Our CVRM Street Outreach Team is on the front lines every day providing water, resources, and hope to those living on the streets.

🚰 We are currently in need of bottled water donations to help keep our community safe and hydrated during these extreme temperatures.

Every bottle makes a difference. Your generosity helps us reach individuals and families who are homeless, hungry, and hurting throughout the valley. ❤️

🚐💙 CVRM STREET OUTREACH IN ACTION 💙🚐

This week, the CVRM Street Outreach Team continued meeting our unsheltered neighbors where they are—bringing essential resources, compassionate support, and connections to services throughout the Coachella Valley.

📍 Tuesday | Palm Desert • Rancho Mirage • Bermuda Dunes • La Quinta

The team connected with 11 individuals experiencing homelessness, providing food, cold bottled water, clothing, hygiene supplies, and other essential resources. Team members also shared information about CVRM’s overnight shelter, programs, and supportive services, helping connect individuals with pathways toward shelter and greater stability.

📍 Wednesday | Cathedral City

Outreach continued in Cathedral City, where the team connected with 24 individuals experiencing homelessness. Along with distributing essential supplies, the team took time to build relationships, offer encouragement, and share information about resources available through CVRM.

Across both days, 35 individuals were reached. ❤️ Every conversation is an opportunity to build trust, meet an immediate need, and remind someone that help and hope are available.

🙏 As always, these efforts reflect CVRM’s mission: “To serve those in need by sharing the saving grace of Jesus Christ through the provision of food, shelter, clothing, and spiritual recovery.”

🏠❤️ Two More Housing Success Stories! ❤️🏠

Yesterday was an incredible day at CVRM as we had the privilege of helping two individuals move into homes of their own! 🔑✨

One of our clients had been experiencing homelessness for more than a year, living in a borrowed vehicle and sleeping in the parking lot of her workplace. Despite enduring the extreme summer heat, she continued working and moving forward with hope and resilience. Yesterday, she received the keys to a spacious one-bedroom apartment in Palm Springs. She was overjoyed to finally have the stability and security of a place to call her own. 🏡💜

Our second client had been residing at Martha’s Village & Kitchen while working full-time and helping support his two daughters. For him, having a home means something especially meaningful—a place where he can spend quality time with his children. He moved into a one-bedroom ADU in Indio with a landlord we have had the opportunity to work with previously. His success is also a wonderful reminder of how important strong community partnerships are in helping individuals move toward lasting stability. ❤️

These moments truly take a team! 🙌 A special thank you to our Kitchen Department for providing food boxes, our New Life Resale Boutique for delivering couches, and our Administration team for providing welcome baskets, mattresses, and bed frames to help make their new spaces feel like home.

Both clients expressed tremendous gratitude for everyone who helped make these moves possible. This is what happens when compassion, teamwork, and community come together—two individuals now have a safe place to call home and an opportunity to begin their next chapter. 🔑🏠
