We’ve had so many people reach out to check on us, and we are incredibly grateful.

Basecamp is fine, and we are open and welcoming guests. While the recent flooding has affected parts of our area, our accommodations, pool, hot tubs, and property are all open and ready for your stay.

Rainy days at Basecamp bring out some of our favorite visitors🦌🌧️

A few young axis bucks wandered through the meadow while the herons perch patiently on the lake. There’s something especially peaceful about the property when the rain settles in and everything turns a little greener and quieter.

This blue heron has been making regular appearances around the lake lately, and we’re not complaining.

One more reminder that sometimes the best part of a Hill Country getaway is simply slowing down long enough to notice what’s around you.
