Talking Real Estate in Citrus County, it is still active. 35 new listing and 60 have gone pending. 1 more will be added today as my latest listing that went on the marke yesterday will go pending today.
Homes are still in short supply and Buyers are here searching for their next home. Supply and demand are in play with it being a Sellers Market. Homes that are priced right are selling quickly
causing disappointment for many perspective Buyers for slow action in getting their offer presented. In todays market, Buyers must recognize other Buyers may be considering the same Property they are interested in and their delay in action can be their loss.

INTEREST RATES ARE LOW, STIMULATING BUYERS

Friends and Neighbors,

In this troubled time we are experiencing and things getting tight, you may be thinking of calling your Mortgage Company to see if your payments may be put off for a few months. Many are doing so but please understand if you are one of them. There are two ways your Mortgage Company may offer you. One is called Deferment the other is Forbearance. Understanding the difference is very important to you

DEFERMENT VERSES FORBEARANCE

Deferment allows you to miss payments for lets say, 6 months or what is needed. Your payments for that period will be moved to the back of your Payment schedule extending the term for 6 more months.

The Forbearance is the one to avoid in most cases as what ever time is given to delay payments such as 6 months, those payments will be DUE IN FULL at the end of your 6 month.

It still is a SELLERS MARKET here in Citrus County with Buyers in competition with others Buyers for the prize.. Shortage of homes is driving the Buyers to quickly make an offer with the hopes of getting the Sellers acceptance with sometimes muliple offers coming in. The highest and best offer will take it. Interest rates have been lowered again stimulating more Buyers to enter the market.
March is a great time for Sellers to get off the fence and get their homes on the market to capture more Buyers.
