Yesterday, I lost a listing. Today, I’m back at it. 🤍🏡

I’d be lying if I said yesterday didn’t sting.

I spent months marketing this home—open houses, videos, flyers, social media, follow-ups, phone calls, strategy and countless hours behind the scenes.

And in the end, there won’t be a paycheck for those hours.

No hard feelings. Sometimes circumstances change, and that’s simply part of this business. I genuinely wish my former clients nothing but the best.

But it reminded me of something I wish more people knew:

Realtors don’t get paid for the hours we work. We get paid when the job gets done.

People see the commission when a home closes.

They don’t see the listings that don’t.

They don’t see the months of work without a paycheck, the money spent marketing, the evenings and weekends, the negotiations, problem-solving, phone calls and hundreds of little things happening behind the scenes.

A good Realtor is so much more than someone who puts a sign in your yard.

We’re marketers, negotiators, problem solvers and advocates helping you navigate one of the biggest financial transactions of your life.

So yes, yesterday hurt a little.

But this morning? Coffee in hand, I’m right back at it. ☕️
