💙 TOGETHER FOR LOGAN 💙
Sometimes God places people in our lives exactly when we need them most.
In September of 2025, one of my agents was preparing to have her baby. While I was excited for her, I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous. Terin had become my go-to person for anything Iowa Park, and I knew I would be missing her help for a while as she stepped into this new season of life.
A few days after our monthly meeting, she went into labor.
Less than a week later, I was sitting on a bench at Bradford while Maddux was at football practice. Out of nowhere, this little guy rolled up in his wheelchair with the biggest smile I had ever seen. He had more personality, joy, and light than most adults I know.
That little guy was Logan.
At the time, I was stressed about work, feeling overwhelmed, and worried about how I was going to keep everything moving forward. But sitting there watching Logan, I received a much-needed perspective check. What felt like a mountain to me suddenly looked more like a molehill.
Despite the challenges Logan faces every day, he was smiling, laughing, and lighting up everyone around him.
As I watched him, I noticed a woman nearby and assumed she was his mom. I felt compelled to tell her what an incredible little boy she had. We started talking, and I asked what she did for work.
She told me she had worked at a church for years, but her last day had been the week before.
Naturally, I asked, "So what are you going to do now?"
Her response caught me completely off guard.
"Well, I got my real estate license last week."
I remember thinking, "What are the chances?" 😂
She shared that she was talking with a few brokerages but would love to grab coffee sometime. Within a few days, we were sitting at Starbucks.
Honestly, I wasn't looking to train a brand-new agent. I had the knowledge, but time was already in short supply. Yet something felt different.
I told Ashley that if she started with me and decided within a month that I was too much (which is a very real possibility 😂), I wouldn't be offended.
She rode around with me for two weeks and then absolutely took off.
After our first few transactions together, she found her wings and hasn't looked back. In just nine months, she's already surpassed my expectations. She works hard, shows up every day, and is always eager to help.
Looking back now, I know God knew exactly what I needed before I did.
Through this special little boy, God changed my perspective and changed my life.
Now Logan is facing additional surgeries, and I would love for our community to bless him and his family in a big way.
All proceeds from our shirt sales will go directly to Logan and his family to help with upcoming medical and travel expenses as they prepare for another surgery.
We will also be hosting a community dinner at Murphree Park in Iowa Park on June 30th. We'll have hamburgers, hot dogs, fellowship, and opportunities to donate.
If you can't make it, I’ve attached donation information and Venmo details.
If you've never met Logan, I hope you get the chance one day. He has a way of lighting up a room and reminding everyone around him what really matters.
Please keep Logan, Ashley, and their entire family in your prayers. More than anything, they need God's strength, comfort, peace, and healing in the days ahead.
Stay tuned this week as Ashley shares more about Logan's journey with AMC and what lies ahead.
