We’d greatly appreciate your prayers. Our middle son, Judah, has been fighting cancer. Today he is undergoing a very extensive surgery to remove the tumor and a portion of his femur. It was an early start to today. Here he is, being silly Judah, as he waited for us to check in.

Time for another Fun Fact Friday! 🥳

If you missed it last week, we announced that this is a series we’ll be doing on Fridays, where we’ll share fun facts about ourselves as a way to help you get to know the Traylor Team better! We’ll keep the general introductions going for another week.

As you can tell from the picture, we are the proud parents of three sons.

Our oldest is Cai, and he is going into the 10th grade this year. He’s your typical firstborn—he’s a rule follower and enforcer, responsible, and a hard worker. He's all about sports (especially basketball). He got his drivers license earlier this year, and is now working for us, putting that license to use running to properties and errands for us.

Judah is our middle son, and he started the 7th grade this year. He’s a fighter. He’s already beaten cancer once when he underwent a bone marrow transplant at the agent of 2, and he's currently fighting cancer again. Despite the suckiness of cancer, he’s the witty, sarcastic jokester of the family, and brings us a lot of laughs!

Our youngest is Joel, and he started 5K this year. Joel is wide open, and always on the go! When he's awake he has 1 speed: full throttle! He was the most active in the womb during Vanessa’s 3 pregnancies, and that constant movement hasn’t stopped since stepping into this world. He’s the one who keeps us on our toes!

We love our boys and are so grateful that the Lord has given us the privilege and honor of raising them. We pray they will grow to be godly men, full of godly conviction, compassion, and courage.

If you're thinking that house looks familiar, it's because we posted about it yesterday. We actually had the opportunity to not only represent the sellers, but also the buyers. We hosted an open house at this home the first weekend we listed and these buyers came through and loved it. We really thought they were going to make an offer, but then we didn't hear back from them. The following week we went under contract with another buyer, but that deal ended up falling through a few weeks later. And when these buyers saw it come back on the market they called us because they didn't want to miss the opportunity again. It was fun seeing the excitement on their face as we did the final walk through and hear them discussing all the things they had planned to make this their home! Congrats y'all! Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to work with you!

Praising the Lord for another closing, and thrilled for our sellers to have officially closed! They exercised much patience as this property went under contract pretty quick, but that deal fell through, so we had to go back on the market and wait for the perfect buyer. Excited that buyer came along and we're now closed!

📣 Fun Fact Friday!

This is a new series we’re starting here on our socials. Each Friday, we’ll post a fun fact about us. It might be silly, or serious, or random, or whatever. But hopefully, it will be a fun way for you to get to know us a little better! So, to kick things off, we’ll start with some basic facts you may or may not already know.

Not surprisingly, The Traylor Team consists of us, Hart and Vanessa Traylor! We’re both natives of the Midlands—Hart grew up in Forest Acres, and Vanessa in Gilbert. We met at USC (Go Gamecocks!) through a Bible study (RUF), got married in 2008, have three boys, and currently live in the Cayce Avenues.

Hart got into real estate in 2009 when he helped his best friend start a real estate company. He officially got his license in 2010. Prior to real estate, Vanessa worked in education as a teacher, but Hart finally convinced her to get her license and join him in 2015. Our licenses have been hung at Paul Properties since 2022. That same year we also started our short-term rental (aka AirBnb) management company, and we currently manage roughly 15 properties.

We love helping our clients accomplish their real estate dreams, and we believe our strengths complement each other very well, making us a great team!
