Today, we remember the faces. The family members, friends, coworkers, first responders, bystanders, and so many others whose lives were forever changed on September 11th.
We remember the people who left home that morning with dinner waiting in the crockpot, plans for the weekend, errands to run after work, and loved ones expecting them home. The ones who took a different route to work that day, boarded a flight, walked into the office, or simply went about what they thought would be an ordinary Tuesday.
They had plans. They had people who loved them. They had no idea that morning would change everything.
9/11 changed countless lives and changed our country forever. Today, we remember those we lost, those who ran toward danger to help others, and every family that has carried the weight of that day ever since.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸
