WWW will provide a world class training venue for our first responders and the general public! Swift water rescue is the most dangerous rescue our first responders face. Back to the #4 most wanted Great Park Activity - "Go to community events & festivals"

Our programming will include fun family friendly festivals for everyone in the community such as the Build Your Own Boat and St. Patricks Day celebrations. They will include many fun and exciting outdoor events from fun runs and boat races to food and music.

2021 Great Park Public Outreach Result #8 - "Teach Kids About Nature"

Our programming will include after school and summer camps for kids. In addition to teaching them the skills needed to safely enjoy the great outdoors our curriculum also includes STEM related material taught by certified instructors so our kids learn the science behind nature. 2021 Great Park Public Outreach Result #7 - "Mitigate Climate Change"

The WWW project plans to plant 100 trees in the Great Park. These trees will provide much needed shade and sequester over 2 tons of CO2 per year. Further our after school and summer camps include STEM based environmental education content. Please write to [email protected] and let them know you support the WWW project, if you want more trees and environmental education in The Great Park.

2021 Great Park Public Outreach Result #6 - "Enjoy a mix of sports and entertainment"

The Great Park WWW venue will provide regularly scheduled sporting activities from zip lines and whitewater to adventure film screenings, live entertainment, and festivals that celebrate the family oriented active outdoor lifestyle. Adaptive Paddling Programing
The Western Whitewater Works proposal for the Great Park will include activities for visitors of all abilities. Even those with "disabilities". We will offer adaptive paddling opportunities so everyone can participate. Our friends at Team River Runner recognize this and wrote the attached letter in support of our project. Please write to the Irvine City officials ([email protected]) if you want more adaptive sports at the Great Park.

The WWW project will be a space for the everyone to enjoy a wide range of individual active outdoor recreation activities year round. Whether you are jogging or biking on the trails or paddling the whitewater. Whether you are an aspiring OIympian or a beginner. Bring the entire family to the park to get outdoors, connect with one another, engage in healthy activities, and celebrate the outdoor lifestyle.

#4 - "Go to community events & festivals"

The WWW project will regularly host events that will bring the entire family to the park to get outdoors, connect with on another, engage in healthy activities, and celebrate the outdoor lifestyle.

The WWW project will be cash positive for the Great Park. No CFD funds required. WWW will also deliver the free park ammenities residents want: dog friendly walking & biking trails, trees, open space, the lake, a river and much more!

The WWW project will pay the City of Irvine for use of the property and will not require tax dollars to get built. Email [email protected] in support of WWW if you want a fiscally responsible project that delivers on the Great Park promise.
