On March 4, Governor Newsom signed an executive order extending authorization for local governments to halt evictions for commercial renters impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic through June 30, 2021.

It is a sad day in the legal world with the passing of Justice Ginsburg. She was a pillar of the highest court, and paved the way for us women attorneys. May she Rest In Peace.

Ginsburg, the second woman to serve on the Supreme Court, died from complications from cancer. Her death will set in motion what promises to be a tumultuous political battle over who will succeed her.
