🏡 IRVINGTON NEIGHBORHOOD SERIES — PART 2: ARDSLEY PARK

If you’ve ever driven through Ardsley Park, you already know… this neighborhood just feels different. ✨

Spanning portions of Irvington and Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley Park is known for its winding, tree-lined streets, impressive properties and elegant homes that tell the story of another era.

And there’s a reason for that history.

The neighborhood traces its roots back to the sprawling country estate of Cyrus W. Field, the businessman famous for helping lay the first successful transatlantic telegraph cable. His “Ardsley” estate stretched for hundreds of acres along the Irvington–Dobbs Ferry border. By the late 1800s, portions of the estate were acquired and developed into what became Ardsley Park.

Today, you’ll find some truly special real estate here — gracious older homes, larger properties, distinctive architecture and residences dating back to around the turn of the 20th century. 🏡
