In fact, my husband, Bill, and I moved into our first (and only) home, a little two-bedroom Cape, here in 1978. We soon outgrew that house as our family got bigger, but never outgrew our love for the community and its people. And what isn’t to love, as we take advantage of Westchester’s abundant hiking and walking trails, beautiful vistas, and even snowshoe in the winter or kayak in the summer. Lo

oking to put down roots, Bill and I ran our own technology business here for many years, which we sold in 2014. I was always active in the community, volunteered, and served on the Ardsley School board, and so I was looking for a new career that would help me foster my connection with Westchester and its people. More and more people were asking about moving or buying homes here, so, luckily, my real estate career found me - and I dove right in. For me, it’s not about transactions or numbers, but about helping people at important and memorable times in their lives, such as their first house, selling and moving up when their family grows, or downsizing when they retire and want to relax and enjoy life. If you see a BIG smile on my face when we take closing photos with clients, now you’ll know why – it feels wonderful to truly help people and become part of their “story” through real estate. I take this role very seriously: I’m constantly monitoring the market data and stats, fostering relationships with other agents and brokers, and staying on the cutting edge of what’s happening in Westchester County. And I discovered that my quirky sense of humor is a BIG help in this crazy business.

42 years later in this same house (which is now a 4-bedroom), and I still love to paint landscapes of our majestic Westchester vistas while Bill continues to turn beautiful wood bowls. I’m all-in on real estate, my true calling, wake up happy to work in a field where every day is a new challenge, and I get to help so many wonderful people. Large or small, upsizing or downsizing, it doesn’t matter why you are making the move, I enjoy making sure you find the property that is in your heart, just like Westchester has been in mine for so long.
