Promotional material for Plantation Yacht Harbor called it, “The Sportsman’s Paradise.” The resort advertised: 100% air-conditioned cabins; a cocktail lounge; a dining room with dance hall; and tennis courts. Longstanding but unsubstantiated rumors were that Mafia kingpin, Meyer Lansky owned PYH and that his son, Buddy, was at one time the manager. Another rumor suggested that Lucky Luciano was once an owner of the resort.

Tough day for Zillow! Yesterday the company announced they are exiting Offers, its business that buys and flips homes, and eliminating 25% of its workforce.

Zillow said Tuesday that it's winding down its homebuying unit, which competes with Opendoor.
