She and her late husband, Rick, who was a successful backcountry fisherman, are devoted to their three children. Her eldest daughter Meghan is a practicing lawyer specializing in Real Estate Law and Estates & Trusts. Her middle child, Melina, is pursuing her Master's in the Science of Marketing and a career in real estate alongside her mother and is currently employed as an Assistant Marketing Director at American Caribbean. Her son, Miles, is a collegiate springboard/platform diver at Florida Atlantic University
In her spare time, Lorie enjoys reading, cooking, eating, boating, watching the sunset, and participating in community service. Lorie has served as the president of the Florida Keys MLS Board, is currently serving as the chairman of the MLS committee, was appointed to the Village of Islamorada’s Achievable Housing Citizen’s Advisory Committee, is the Vice President of the Coral Shores High School Advisory Committee, is a graduate of Leadership Monroe County Class VIII and was the 2016 recipient of Realtor of the year.
