HOW TO FRESHEN YOUR GARBAGE DISPOSAL 🍋✨

You’ll need:
🍋 Lemon or orange peels
🧊 A handful of ice cubes
🧂 ½ cup coarse salt

Step 1: Add ice cubes and salt to the disposal.
Step 2: Run cold water and turn on the disposal for a few seconds.
Step 3: Add a few small pieces of citrus peel and run again with cold water.
Step 4: Let the water run for a few more seconds.

✨ Why it works: The ice + salt help loosen buildup, while the citrus leaves things smelling fresh!

TIP: Avoid adding large amounts of citrus peel at once!

Pay attention to the things that will actually impact how you live in the home, like the layout, natural light, storage, lot, neighborhood, and overall condition.

You’ve probably heard someone say they’re “buying down the rate”… but what does that actually mean?

A rate buydown is a way to reduce the interest rate on a mortgage by paying an upfront cost. Depending on the type of buydown, that lower rate may last for the entire loan or just the first few years.

And here’s where it gets interesting: sometimes a seller may contribute toward a buyer’s rate buydown as part of the deal. 👀

A lower rate can mean a lower monthly mortgage payment, but whether a buydown makes financial sense depends on the loan, the cost, and how long you plan to own the home. Another real estate term officially decoded! 🔑
