On Thursday, Richard Baker (Governor, Executive Chairman, and CEO of the Hudson’s Bay Company) (Cornell Class of ’65) joined us for a Distinguished Speaker Series lecture, drinks and dinner at Cornell. Mr. Baker talked about growing up in a real estate family and how he carved out a space for himself at the intersection of retail, real estate, and technology as an owner of Saks Fifth Avenue, Hudson’s Bay Company, Convene, and more. He also spoke about what led him to endow the Baker Program in Real Estate.

Hearing from and personally interacting with top minds in real estate is one of the highlights of the Baker Program. We thank Mr. Baker for his invaluable contribution to the program and his deep interest in our success.
