Would you recommend our services to a friend? I would recommend your services to a friend. I am pretty cynical about how much "protection" the inspection process actually offers a homeowner, but the nature of the beast is outside of your control. Once a buyer has succumbed to the notion that this is an inevitable part of the process, you are a good choice.
How did you hear about Campbell and Davies LLC? Our real estate agent sent us a list (with no hint of opinion) of about a half-dozen inspection services and I went to most or all of the websites. Yours was the only one that didn't seem corporate and impersonal.
What did you like best about your experience with us? You were highly available in the non-corporate, personal way that I had hoped for when I picked you from the list. There is a pretense of some precise metric in this process but almost all the valuable knowledge to be gained is in the gray areas that cannot be precisely measured. Your challenge is to dare to enter those gray areas and somehow still be honest and ethical. You presented enough unbiased knowledge to allow us to be able to form opinions. We appreciate that you have the skills to do this and took the time and had the patience for us.
If you could improve one aspect of our services, what would it be? I suspect the technology is becoming available so you could do these reports on a tablet in a way that the comments, the explanations, the pictures would be pretty seamless and that the buyer could review and understand the contents of a nearly final draft on the spot. This may not quite be here yet, but you should pay attention to new solutions as they become available.

What did you like best about your experience with us? I liked that you all went over the home inspection thoroughly and answered my questions in a way that I understood that wasn't condescending. I also thought it was really helpful that you immediately emailed the report to us as my husband wasn't able to be there and it was great to have something that he could refer to immediately as I was trying to explain things.
If you could improve one aspect of our services, what would it be? I really can't think of anything. You both were great to work with and the detail of the report was really helpful given that we decided to walk away from the house. I liked how frank you all were, without trying to steer me in one direction or another.

Thank you so much for your help with the home inspection. We really appreciated the thoroughness that you provided and the explicit and clear report that you generated. You made a somewhat daunting process for new first-time home buyers seem much less intimidating! I'm glad that our realtor recommended you to us and I would definitely recommend your services to a friend. We followed your advice and brought in a contractor yesterday to survey the "falling room" and also asked that he review a few other items that you found. We feel much more educated going into the next steps of negotiation, so again, thank you!
