So one of my claims to fame is, I was voted the Pittsford High School Class of 79 "Class Optimist". That life moniker has always given me the right to seek out the good in every situation.
So in a optimistic way, I think it is smart and respectful for me to keep my distance, carry a hand sanitizer and mask up, when visiting public places. It does seem the bright thing to do; for my family, for your family, for those elder and those with health conditions! I am optimistic, we will tame this beast and we will have a really big celebration!
In between now and that big party; visit parents, call senior friends, appreciate one another, give and thank God for everything, including ice cream.
One more optimistic note, very cool drive into work this morning past rolling Summit Township fields and shimmering lakes. Glad I live in Jackson, MI. Sharp Park looks especially enticing with plenty of walkers, joggers, golfers and pickle ball players!
Stay Well, Eat Your Ice Cream (like my grandson Gabriel) and Prosit,
Phil
