Honestly, one of the best deals of my career.

I had amazing buyers, an incredible lender, and a fantastic agent on the other side of the transaction. She represented the kind of sellers every Realtor hopes to work with.

I show and sell a lot of homes, and you can always tell when a house has been filled with love and great memories. This was one of those homes.

Do you know much about 203(k) rehabilitation loans?

I had a buyer recently who wanted to go this route, and on paper it made perfect sense. Buy a home that needs work and roll the renovation costs into the loan.

Simple… in theory.

In reality, it ended up being a lot more complex than expected. Not impossible, just not as straightforward as it sounds.

It definitely gave me a different perspective on why we don’t see them used more often.
