It's time for one of my favorite traditions! 😍 My husband and I have made it a point to set aside funds each year to help his fellow teachers with classroom supplies.
We know all teachers spend their own money to make their classrooms a fun, special place for their students and it occurs outside the normal budget.

💧 Home Care Reminder: CHECK YOUR SUMP PUMP! 💧

Even when it isn't actively raining, groundwater can build up beneath your foundation. That creates hydrostatic pressure, which can eventually lead to water finding its way into your basement.

Here's a quick way to check your sump pump:
✅ Open the sump pit lid and check the water level. (There will always be some water, but it shouldn't be unusually high.)
✅ Gently lift the float (buoy) arm to make sure the pump turns on and begins pumping water.

🚨 If the pump doesn't activate when you lift the float, or you notice an unusually high amount of standing water in the basin, it's time to call a professional.

A five-minute check today could save you from a flooded basement tomorrow. Stay dry and stay ahead of the next storm! 🌧️🏠

Oh boy… Facebook reminded me of my “new” headshots from 2021.
They had to crop out my pregnant belly and I clearly needed to be told no on the grey. 😂

But one thing hasn’t changed - my passion for helping people in this business. I am so thankful for my first Broker and friend Les Ellison and his mindset of people before numbers. ALWAYS. ❤️ It has set the tone for how I run my business 9 years later.

What’s your favorite trick for keeping your house smelling fresh?

With three kids, one very large dog and two working parents, I can’t exactly say our house always smells like a candle commercial. 😅

One little thing I love to do is wash our curtains and throw blankets every so often with a boujie laundry detergent. It makes the whole house feel cleaner and more inviting. (This time I am trying French Market vs Diva 🤍 )

I actually buy mine from High Street Market here in Jackson and it’s become one of my favorite little home splurges.

Now I need your ideas… What’s the one thing you do that always makes your home smell amazing?
