Twenty-five years ago, our country changed forever.

Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families who were left with an unimaginable loss, and the countless heroes who ran toward danger to help others.

For many of us, the memories of that day are still vivid. Where we were, who we were with, and the disbelief we felt as we watched everything unfold.

But we also remember what came after. We remember strangers helping strangers. We remember courage, compassion, sacrifice, and a country coming together when it mattered most.

Today, we honor those we lost and those who gave so much in the days, months, and years that followed.
