Attention Jackson County women between the ages of 12-25 seeking the opportunity to earn educational scholarships and represent Jackson County as the next Miss Jackson Crossroads and Miss Jackson Crossroads Outstanding Teen!
The Miss Jackson Crossroads and Outstanding Teen Scholarship Competition is scheduled for Saturday, June 29th, 2019, 6PM, Potter Center, Jackson College Campus. Both the newly crowned Miss and Outstanding Teen will serve Jackson County as an ambassador of the Miss America Competition and represent her community at the respective June 2020 Miss Michigan and Outstanding Teen Scholarship Competitions.

The Miss Jackson Crossroads and Outstanding Teen Competition provides a unique and supportive experience where candidates will grow personally by sharpening communication skills, gaining valuable stage experience and confidence, promoting community service, and developing lifetime friendships.
The competition provides four (4) individual scoring categories unique to Miss and Outstanding Teen candidates.
✅Outstanding Teen scoring includes:
Private Interview: 25%
Fitness: 15%
Talent: 35%
Eveningwear and On-stage Question: 25%
Basic Outstanding Teen eligibility requirements to compete include the following:
· Must live or attend school full-time in Jackson County
· Be at least 13 years of age by June 8th, 2019
· Be no older than 17 years of age as of July 31st, 2019
· Must not have graduated from high school as of July 31st, 2019
$75 registration fee for Teen contestants
Miss candidates will be scored in accordance with the new Miss America 2.0 format by eliminating the Lifestyle and Fitness in Swimsuit competition.
✅Miss scoring includes:
Private Interview: 25%
On Stage Question: 15%
Talent: 40%
Social Impact Statement: 20%
Basic eligibility requirements to compete include the following and there is NO registration fee for Miss:
· Must live, work, or attend school full time in Jackson County
· Be at least 18 years of age by June 31st, 2019
· Be no more than 25 years of age by December 31st, 2019
· Be a high school senior by June 29th, 2019
